Wolfe's Neck Farm!

Feeding the hungry goats!
Everyone went inside the chicken coop to feel a freshly laid egg, and feed the chickens.

All the kids loved riding on the tractor.
Look at my Pumpkin!
This is a great pumpkin!
Miss Kristy helped us act out the life cycle of a pumpkin.
On Friday our class traveled to Wolfe's Neck Farm in Freeport.  Our class has been learning about pumpkins and this field trip was a great extension to what we have been learning at school.  We couldn't have asked for better weather, and we had a fantastic time!  We explored the barn, and got to pet and feed the many animals inside.  The tractor ride was a big hit, and everyone got to pick their own pumpkin in the field.  Thanks to the parents who joined us, and a BIG thank you to the farmers at Wolfe's Neck for making our visit such a huge success.  Here are some photos from our trip!
